1 Month Old

Mason turned 1 month on Aug. 31st...WOW time is already flying buy!! I took Mason to his 1 month doctors appointment on Thursday and he got a shot and a prick on the foot. I cried when he got his shot...I felt so bad for him. I told DD he had to take Mason to his next appointment because I can't take seeing Mason get his shots it just kills me. The doctor gave me a prescription for some numbing cream, so maybe it will make things a lot less painful for Mason next time.
Mason weighs 10.13 pounds and is 22inches long growing like a weed.

Baby Love

I asked my girlfriend Meghan to come over to take pictures of my little man. I had big expectations from my little man and Mr. Mason had something else in mind. Mason has been very, very gassy and he spits up. When he spits up it's like a gush of milk coming up and you wonder if anything he just ate stayed down. Well Mason cried pretty much the whole time Meghan was at our house. He just didn't feel good that day. The Pictures Meghan did get are awesome and I couldn't of asked for anything better!

Mason David MacRae
He was 7.9lbs 20inches long and has a FULL set of hair!
We were in labor for 30 hours and we pushed for 6 off and on. I would like to say I tried really hard to bring Mason into this world naturally, but God had a different plan for us. I had to have a C-section and I really didn't want a C-section. This is why I pushed for so long! I couldn't take the pain any more and that's after 2 epidurals. The epidural stopped working for me. I was put to sleep during delivery, but I was ok with that. It was a long and rough delivery, but we are so blessed with a handsome baby boy!

Bath Time

I thought these pictures of Howard were funny...DD gave Howard a much needed bath this past weekend. Howard really hates getting a bath, but at the same time I think he likes the attention. He was really good at listening and staying...I was really proud of him. DD and I both feel he is so animated in all his expresions and actions. We are laughing at him all the time.

Our Summer Vacation

This year the MacRae Clan thought it would be nice to try a new beach. We all decided on Nags Head NC. Ocean City is getting way to crowed and expensive. I still missed going to Ocean City, but I think I liked the OBX better. The beaches aren't over crowed and I felt safer...it was very low key. That's my kind of vacation! I was able to take naps during the day and lay by the pool. Can you believe I only walked out to the beach one time...if you know me well, you would know I LOVE, LOVE the beach and use to pretty much live on the beach as a teenager. It was to far for me to walk when you have to pee every 5 min., so I just stayed at the pool. The pool was apart of the house we stayed at. It was a really nice house.

Stacie and Sid's wedding

One of the big events of the year for the MacRae family Stacie and Sid's wedding...What an awesome wedding...we were really scared the wedding was going to be moved inside from the beach, but the sky cleared up and it was beautiful...It was one of the best weddings I've been to! On the beach, barefooted with a cup of beer in hand(well I didn't have a cup of beer...I would of loved one)...very laid back, but still classy! What a great start to our family vacation.

New Best Friend
