So Far So Good!

I am 17 weeks along and so far so good. I'm feeling really good and I haven't had any kind of morning sickness. I know I am definitely blessed when it comes to that!!! I feel so bad for the women who have gone through it. My Mother and Grandmother never had morning sickness, so I guess I have their good genes.

I'm feeling the wee one move now and it's definitely a WEIRD feeling. The only way I can describe the feeling is gas bubbles moving around and popping in my belly. I feel most of the movements after I eat. I'm really anxious for DD to feel the baby move now, but I think it's still a little early for that.

I have my next Dr. appointment this Friday and we get to see the doctor this time. We've been seeing the nurse practitioner. Last time we heard the heart beat for the first time. The Nurse told us not to be alarmed if we didn't hear the heart beat right away because it's hard to find sometimes. NOT this little ones heart! As soon as she put the instrument on my belly you could hear the heart beat! It made DD and I light right up! It was a sweet sound! I'm excited to see what we will get to experience at our appointment this time. Defiantly scared to see how much weight I have gained this time!! YIKES!! Wish me luck!!!!

Our Vacation to Florida

DD and I went on a RV road trip with another couple to Florida. We were gone for 10 days. First we stopped in on DD's parents at River Ranch for a few days. My In-Laws travel to Florida for a few months in the winter every year. They stay in the prettiest camp site you will ever see! It's really nice and I wish we didn't have to leave.
We spent the rest of our vacation in Daytona. We camped outside the Daytona track. What site that is!!!!! There are thousonds and thousands of people around the track and inside this track camping!!! It's nothing but a HUGE party for most people!! This was my first Nascar race and what a race it was! I loved it!
John and JoAnn were a great couple to travel with. DD and I really enjoyed spending time with them. We hope to go on another journey with them again sometime!

They had a huge field full of horses and bulls. In another field they had buffalo.



These two birds are Pileated Woodpeckers we saw in the trees at Dwight and Georgia's camp site. I had never seen a woodpecker before.

The Blanket

It's all about the blanket. We carry this blanket everywhere we go. She gets so upset when you even think about taking her blanet. I think we all have had something like a blanket that we have loved so darely! I love these pictures of her.
