Mommy weekend

I went to my friend Meghan's this weekend and only got one layout done! I didn't get to much accomplished, but I had a good time. I had a lot on my plate this past week, so it was nice to get my mind on other things.
My dad went into the hospital with pneumonia this past week. He had a really hard time breathing, more so than normal. They ran a bunch of new tests on my dad and come to find out he has an aneurysm on his heart. Just one more thing for him to deal with! I feel so badly for him. He has been through so much already! When will he catch a brake? My poor dad!!

The picture I worked on really touches my heart! I just love it!!



My journaling says,"Mason you are my heart and soul! I'm so proud to be your Mommy."

Mud Pies Anyone?

I have been looking forward to today all week, just so I could take the kids out into the mud. I would say everyone had a good time, including me! I love for the kids to get dirty and have fun doing it!!!

The girls didn't want to get dirty so there aren't as many pictures of them...they were a little boring! The boys jumped right in...I guess boys will be boys!

Happy Easter!!!

Oh my, what fun we had with Mason this Easter! Of course it was more fun for DD and I than Mason. Mason did get a little Easter treat and he is paying for it now. I let him have a yellow peep and let me tell you Mason loved it!!! Did not want to let go of the Peep either when I thought he should be done. Yesterday while changing his diaper I noticed a rash. Mason has had a allergic reaction to the Peep. He doesn't seem to be bothered by the hives, but I feel bad about it. Live and learn!

Dying Eggs with the little ones

I thought it would be fun to "TRY" to dye eggs with the little ones...well...it was a little stressful! I was so happy to have some help! My Mother-In-Law Georgia came by to give me a hand. The little ones just didn't understand and well Miss R.Y. hand a grand time, she didn't want to stop. I think there were cracks in every egg she dyed! It was funny watching her dye eggs!

The boys will love it next year...I pray we will have a warmer Spring next year because I will probably need to dye the eggs outside with the boys. I'm just a little scared! Something to look forward to!!

The Tent

These pictures are from last week. I busted out the tent to give the kids something new to play with. They also found the Tupperware. I think they are having fun!

I went to Peggy and Mike's this past weekend to meet their new addition. Oh what a beautiful baby girl they have!!
